On 27th March, the 10º2, 11º1 and 11º2 classes went to the theater on a school trip to watch Sherlock Holmes and the Mystery of the Lock Ness Monster performed at Academia Almadense with teachers Carla Coelho, Cristina Gonçalves, Margarida Rebelo and Raúl Pinto.
The play was about one of the many adventures of the legendary detective Sherlock Holmes and his assistant Dr. Watson. The two actors fully interacted with the public and some students had the opportunity to play the other characters and even “windows”, a taxi, “monsters” as well as experiencing na unforgettable real death on stage.
Full of laughter, music and interaction, this play provided students with the opportunity to learn a bit more about the British culture, the English language and the joy of a fantastic performance outside the classroom.
Students happily gave life to this interactive performance and helped the detective solve the mystery of the Lock Ness monster. Sherlock Holmes would definitely say “Elementary my dear students”!
